Choosing associated user journeys

When you set up the CSAT widget on your page you will be promoted to choose user journeys to associate the page with from a pre-defined list.

This is help us show the CSAT performance of a whole journey, taking into account all the areas of our websites that aim to help our users do something.

It is essential to the reporting part of this so please do make sure you include the right journeys for your areas of the websites.

The list is as follows

  • 'get prepared to publish'
  • 'get published'
  • 'discover relevant scholarly content'
  • 'manage my editorial work'
  • 'manage my peer reviews'
  • 'promote my work'
  • 'evaluate the performance of scholarly work'
  • 'manage an apc'
  • 'buy something'
  • 'access what i am entitled to'
  • 'librarian get the information i need'
  • 'librarian assess the performance and use of my portfolio'
  • 'librarian buy something'

In most cases it will be clear what journeys you page aims to support.

If you are not sure, bear in mind that The CSAT widget and survey is best at gathering general data so consider the priority purposes of the page and choose those. As a rule of thumb, aim to include no more than 3 associated journeys to help keep the end data workable.

If you are still not sure, you can have a look at what has already been set up on the dashboard.
